Larry and Woody
Well I’m sure a lot of you have already heard the news that Larry will be starring in Woody Allen’s next, currently untitled feature. He will star alongside actress, Evan Rachel Wood. The film will also mark Woody’s return to New York after shooting his last film in Spain, and the previous three in London. Nothing about the plot or anything else is known except that it will be a comedy (obviously).
I’ve long been a fan of Woody’s, although his most recent work (after Deconstructing Harry) has left a little to be desired. But the pairing of these two neurotic masters of comedy really has me excited. Some of you might be surprised that this is not the first time the two have worked together. Larry had small parts in Allen’s Radio Days (1987) and New York Stories (1989). I’ve been meaning to dig up copies of these two films and once I have I’ll post some clips of Larry “acting” before Curb.
