Cheryl Hines writing new sitcom pilot

Rob ReinerThat’s right, Cheryl Hines, TV wife of Larry David is penning a new sitcom pilot based on her time as Rob Reiner’s personal assistant. This is the first I’ve heard of Cheryl writing for TV but well let’s face it, if she’s picked up anything from her time with Larry it would be how to write comedy. Those unfaimiliar with Rob Reiner, he’s the director of such films as When Harry Met Sally and This is Spinal Tap among others. He also appeared as himself in Curb Your Enthusiasm Season two’s The Thong episode as a fellow patient of Larry’s shrink, where he encouraged Larry to raise money for Groat’s syndrome.
