Season 6 Episode 6: The Rat Dog
Larry tests the limits of sick sex. Meanwhile, Loretta and Leon’s job prospects are burned by a slow toaster, and Larry befriends an exterminator, to a deaf woman’s regret, in Episode 56: The Rat Dog.
I really enjoyed this episode, much more than the previous one (episode 5) where I felt Larry recycled a couple previous ideas, and really crow-barred in some plot elements. This episode however really reminded of the Curb of old. Larry’s attempts to communicate with a deaf person, his “date” with an exterminator, and the hilarity of a cell phone mix-up, all culminated with the brilliantly farcical ending we haven’t seen too much this season. Great ep though, interested to hear your thoughts.
I seems others agree with me, TVSquad Jonathon Toomy saying it is the best of the season so far.
And remember, you can’t pause toast.
episodes like this is why i love curb. easily the best episode of the season. I just love it when larry only cares for himself (sick sex and trying to kick the blacks out if they get a job.) leon is becoming one of my favorite seasonal guests of all time.
Is it just me, or is there a direct correlation between the episodes which Leon is in and those which are the better ones of the season? His phone conversation with Hal had me in stitches. Plus the exterminator was just wonderfully wierd. This was indeed a great episode.
I really enjoyed this episode!
Leon has become one of my favorite characters- he´s a good addition to the cast. He andLarry are always great together.
To me, Leon´s conversation with Hal was the funniest part of this episode. Larry´s date with the exterminator and the storyline with the deaf woman were pretty good too.
All in all I liked this episode better than “the freak book”.
I’ve been loving Season 6 and this was the episode that had me curled over laughing uncontrollably (at the end with the exterminator and rat dog) like I have with many Curb moments in past seasons.
